Why do we have so many different instruments for washing our bodies: sponges, flannels, scrunches, exfoliating mitts, and yet, no one’s seemingly invented anything for washing our hair with, and we have to make do with our hands…!?!

I have wrinkly fingers from being in the bath too long thinking such things! #weirdo

I want to make "GYM AND JUICE" t-shirts.

Go crazy for zig zags this season and embrace the Aztec print. The perfect print for summer holidays ahead, why not clash prints and opt for Aztec-inspired nail art too! Our favourite nail blogger, Emma from Boom Nails has put together a nail tutorial for one of our favourite trends of the season, Aztec Prints so that you can get the look too. Over to Emma…

Do a base coat

Paint your base colour. You can choose any colour for this design - I went for mainly white, with one purple nail and one green nail on each hand

Get hold of a black nail art pen. Start with a row of triangles. I did the outlines first, then filled them all in

Draw a row of short verticle lines underneath your triangles

Do a zig zag line across the tip of your nail. Then copy the same line a bit below it

Draw a line of dashes

FIll in the last bit of free space on your nail with a zig zag, and put some little mini dots in the gaps

Repeat these same patterns on your other nails. Change up the order and add in some of your own patterns too if you like!

Finish with a really good top coat, like Seche Vite

iphone 5 release date still unknown I decided I could not wait any longer to join the smart phone revolution!

So I bought a second hand iphone3 on eBay. (I don’t like the shape of the iphone4, and do not want to be signed into a contract- what would I do when the 5 does surface?!?) It should be in the post as I type this! Overall it looks good condition, a few surface scratches, and only cost me £85.

The photo here shows some speculation of what the iphone5 could look like (not by me might I add!) To me it looks like a mini ipad! The release date is still unknown, June? July? or not until Autumn?

I couldn’t wait that long.

I have a shiny new job working as an Ecommerce Assistant at Fuel Your Fashion Online.

I will be marketing for the company via Facebook and Twitter, maintaing their website, and writing the site’s blog and newsletters for subscribers!

I cannot wait to get stuck in! I start Thursday. Wish me luck! :)

The Biggest Loser

So… The Biggest Loser goal estimator just told me I can realistically be at my goal weight by May… Best get on the Wii. Anyone wanna buy me a Wii Fit Plus to help me out?! :D

I am my own experiment:

Aim: To get to 9st 9lb by mid May

Prediction: I will get to 10st and quit.

Method:

Go for a ‘run’ (jog/power walk/wobble) with Sam Friday evenings.

Bike ride most Saturdays.

Monday: 50min Ab workout (DVD)

+ at least 2 Wii sessions a week. (Raising to 3+ when I get a Fitplus board)

Result: Watch this space…
